What is The Ceiling Mount PIR Occupancy Sensor

The Ceiling Mount PIR Occupancy Sensor is a device engineered to conserve energy by activating electrical loads based on the detection of presence or absence. This PIR timer unit serves as an all-in-one package, specifically crafted for both surface and flush ceiling installation, complete with spring fixing arms and a surface box for swift and straightforward setup. As one of the smallest and most discreet units available, it offers a versatile, dependable “fit and forget” solution.

The PIR functions as a time switch, detecting motion through infra-red signals, such as body heat, to trigger a load or appliance for a predetermined duration. An integrated light sensor ensures the load remains off when there is sufficient ambient light.
